The meandering path through this new township leads towards double storey houses and landscaped social spaces, nestled within a secret garden that evokes a sense of playfulness. We designed two show unit houses to help sell the development, with a brief to create an environment suitable for young families, suited to the whimsical surroundings.
Blush tones with metallic finishes sweep through this home, intended for a young, growing family.
The dining space is made welcoming by placing it at the centre of the open living space, leading to the monochrome tiled kitchen. Behind it sits a creative corner in the form of two blackboard walls for grocery lists, birthday wishes or spontaneous sketching.
Each of the three bedrooms meet the individual’s needs, a master bedroom with bold, illustrative wallpaper, a little girl’s dreamy safe haven with four poster bed and teepee tent, and a young boy’s room in vibrant block colours. Clear wardrobes are used throughout the first floor.
The family library is tucked away within an alcove on the landing, with full height shelving and a sofa at the foot of a sliding ladder.
