Garden Link is created for a young, professional family with a small garden and home study. A timeless monochrome colour palette forms the base, layered with chestnut tones, brass finishings and decorated with bold, oversized artwork. The darker scheme reflects the target professional buyer. Clean lines and dark surfaces accentuate the modern, sleek approach.

The main elements were kept light despite their colour choices, for example the curtains on the first floor are black yet sheer, which partially block strong sunlight without eliminating it completely. Main seating areas are positioned close to windows to enjoy the views.

Careful consideration was given to space planning on the first floor. The existing walls were used to create individual living and dining spaces without the need for doors, and the kitchen was placed central to both.

The children’s room features a black and white polkadot wallpaper and daisy design rug, in keeping with the rest of the home., yet achieving a playful feel.

The walk in master wardrobe with mirrored island counter, built in bar and long kitchen counter suits the professional couple.

An outdoor garden was created with an area for family barbeques, a sport for ‘urban gardening’ and casual family seating. A swing chair for reading and fun, and Eames elephant stools for children.

Although certainly impressive, the feeling is still welcoming and an overall polished feel flows through each space and floor.
