Tower A is a 42-storey commercial tower located within the prestigious KL Metropolis development. The brief called for the creation of a corporate landmark—an inspiring environment that redefines the notion of the modern “Business Class.” More than just a corporate address, our client envisioned a business destination that supports productivity, connection, and prestige.
The design intent focused on harmonising the demands of a fast-paced professional lifestyle with thoughtful, life-enhancing elements. Recognising the diverse mix of tenants and visitors from various industries, the layout was conceived to prioritise intuitive circulation and seamless connectivity, ensuring an efficient and engaging user experience.
The asymmetrical floor plate and prominent structural columns presented unique design challenges, which were leveraged to create a series of dynamic spatial relationships and experiences throughout the building. A refined palette of neutral tones—off-white and grey—was selected to convey professionalism while maintaining a sense of understated elegance.
The main lobby is envisioned as a grand, welcoming space. At its heart is a striking light installation composed of cascading chrome cylinders, gracefully suspended above a solid marble reception counter. This sculptural element adds a sense of intimacy while drawing attention to the double-volume height, enhancing the spatial drama.
Careful consideration was given to scale and proportion to ensure that the expansive interior remains approachable and engaging. Strategically placed pocket lounges offer spaces for informal meetings and relaxation, while sensory elements such as curated lighting, ambient sound, and subtle fragrances elevate the overall experience.
The design of Tower A is driven by a commitment to create a high-performance, contemporary workplace that adapts to the evolving needs of its corporate tenants. With a timeless aesthetic and premium finishes, the tower reflects both modern sophistication and enduring quality.
